Our images are carved and printed by hand onto unique paper. Then they are bonded to card stock and many get hand colored for another layer of personal touches. At last we have tiny works of art for you to purchase and share with love.
Why blank cards?
In the 1920's, my grandfather moved to Detroit from Carnegie, PA to work for the railroad. He met my grandmother on a visit home and asked if he could write to her. After courting through correspondence he won her hand in marriage. Thus the beginning of what would turn out to be my very large family.
In 2002 I began writing to my darling friend I met in Savannah after moving to Asheville, NC to finish college. Once again after sharing each other's thoughts on paper many miles apart we decided to move in together and soon after, got married. We too started a family which is one of the many reasons for our journey back to Detroit.
The cards are blank because they are meant to be a beautiful piece of your history cherished and loved for untold years to come.
